Construction of Lower Semi-rigid Base

Semi-rigid base, also known as stabilized soil, is formed by mixing appropriate amounts of inorganic compounds (cement, lime, industrial waste, etc.) with water, agitated, compacted and injected into soil or unsaturated soil (including various coarse-grained, medium-grained, etc.) and fine-grained soils). The construction method of semi-rigid base is divided into road mix and factory mix. This is a good example.


1. Road mixing project

Road mixers are widely used in construction machinery: powder spreaders, soil stabilization mixers, bulldozers, graders, loaders and road rollers. This is a good example.

It is strictly forbidden to leave a simple soil layer in the mixed layer and the bottom of the layer. Agricultural rotary agricultural machines can be used to mix with multiple plows or graders or serrated disc harrows and multiple plows or graders in the absence of a special mixing mechanism for stabilizing the medium to fine grained area. Each mix must overlap by 10 to 20cm when both sides go into the middle to prevent mix leaks. In the early stages of road grading, a tractor, motor grader or tire roller can be used to quickly detect possible unevenness. Each type is rolled and bent as specified, with special attention to the flatness of the weld. This is a good example.


(6) Press. Grinding is performed within a maximum humidity range of ±1%, and the tightness is within specification.


1) Various stable soil structure layers are used for crushing of rollers over 12 tons. When crushing on a 12-15t three-wheel road roller, the compressed thickness of each layer should not exceed 15cm; 18-20t three-wheel road roller should not be more than 20cm; this is a good example.


2) On a straight line, from the curb to the center; on a flat curved strip, from the inside of the road edge to the outside of the road edge; this is a good example.


(3) When rolling, 1/2 of the wheel width should overlap, and the rear wheel should overlap at the intersection of two or more parts, that is, if the rear wheel presses down the entire width of the cover, it usually needs to overlap 6-8 times. Runners should run twice at a pace of 1.5 to 1.7 km/h, then travel 2.0 to 2.5 km. This is a good example.


4) Before finishing embossing, the grader should be re-aligned to the longitudinal arrangement, dome and height required by the design. Finally, if necessary, when shaving and cleaning the outlet, it should be partially turned up; in local lowlands, do not replenish the material, but when laying the upper layer. This is a good example.


7) Seam processing. After the first stage mixing is completed 5-8m to the final construction stage, there is no torsion

2. Factory production


Factory mixers are used for centralized mixing and filling in factories. The practice shows that the application of factory mixers can improve the quality of the project and speed up the progress of the project, so the conditions should be as good as possible.
